John married Elizabeth Lane, daughter of John Lane and Elizabeth Hankinson, about 1789 in Hunterdon Co, NJ. (Elizabeth Lane was born in 1767 in Monmouth Co, NJ, died on 28 Nov 1858 in Clay Township, Ohio and was buried in Greenlawn Cemetery, Scioto Co, Ohio.)
