Ælfgifu married Edmund I "The Deed Doer" , King of England, son of Edward "The Elder" , King of Wessex, King of England and Eadgifu of Kent. (Edmund I "The Deed Doer" , King of England was born in 921 in Wessex, England, died on 26 May 946 in Pucklechurch, Gloucestershire and was buried in Glastonbury Abbey.) The cause of his death was murdered.
