Appears to be the first Schwab/Swope to migrate to America and is therefore most likely the ancestor of most Americans with the name of Swope.
Came with his family to Lancaster County, PA about 1720. He then settled in what is now Monroe County, WV in about 1752 at Wolf Creek.
