1840 Census of Linvingston County, MO shows Nathan with wife and following children: Males under 5 there are two, under 10 there is one, under 15 there are two, Females under 5 there is one, under 10 there is one, under 15 there is one. 1860 Census of Jackson twnshp in Livingston County, MO shows him with wife named Marinda (or other female residing there) and children are listed as Howard, Rebecca, Thomas, James Americus (Ananias?) and Lucinda. He is shown to be a chairmaker.
