In 1833, they settled in Livingston County, MO near Sampsel. 1840 Census of Livingston County, MO shows this family and confirms other family information. (On file) The first land entry is dated 01-11-1849. Township 58 Range 25, SW quarter Section 3, Jackson Township, Livingston County, MO. (plat map on file). Indenture for this land is also on file dated 10-15-1850.
