Sir Hugh Hastings, of Elsing & Gressenhall ²

  General Notes:

A knight and owner of Fenwick and Norton in County York, and Elsing, Gressenhall and Weasenham in County Norfolk, he served in expeditions to Brittany, under the Earl of Salisbury in 1378 and John d'Arundel in 1379. Accompanying the Duke of Lancaster in his expedition to Spain, he died there in July 1386.

Hugh married Anne le Despenser, daughter of Edward le Despenser and Elizabeth de Burghersh, before 1 Nov 1376.^{1 2} (Anne le Despenser was born about 1358 ² and died on 30 Oct 1426 ^{2 3}.)
