Evaline Keaton, daughter of Anderson and Margaret (Ballard) Keaton was born 1834 and died 1917 buried in the Keaton Cemetery. She married Lewis Austin Whitten in 1854, son of Lewis and Charlotte (Godwin) Whitten from Alleghany County Va. Lewis is buried in the Keaton Cemetery. They had 3 children 1. John Austin 2.
