Nicholas Broyles
He is said to have moved to TN in 1780. Broyles Family Cemetery in Broylesville, Washington County, TN was located at the mouth of the Little Limestone Creek, but there is no longer any sign of a cemetery there. Files of Charles M. Bennett indicate that Nicholas was probably buried there. (Cemetery records on file.) Nicholas married Dorothea Christler in 1756 in Culpepper Co, Virginia. (Dorothea Christler was born in 1735 in Washington County, Tennessee/ Virginia, died about 1797 in Washington County, Tennessee and was buried in Broyles Fam Cem, Broylesville, Washington County, Tennessee.) |
