The 1880 census shows Mary Haines Timbrook living with her parents in Hampshire County, West Virginia, along with her daughter Margaret. Gibson had left Hampshire County and moved to Missouri and his wife Mary had remained behind. In this census, it shows Gibson (57 y/o) and three of his daughters (Rebecca-18; Mollie-16; Anna Lee-14) living in Shelby County, Missouri, just a short distance from his brother Harrison Timbrook.
